Back in action with the blog, beginning with my trip to Italy. Florence is the first stop on the journey. 

Palazzo Vecchietti - Our hotel in Florence. Belonged to the Vecchietti family, bankers in Florence in the 1500's. The house was first lived in by San Donato dei Vecchietti.  

 Rue Degli Strozzi, right near the Piazza della Repubblica. Incredible live music at night! 

First lunch in Florence at Trattoria Osteria. Incredible soup and fresh prosciutto and melon.
